Michael's career has seen him play professionally in both codes of rugby. In 1999, he accepted a scholarship with the Parramatta Eels, making his first team debut on the 2nd May 2003. After two seasons, Michael signed for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in 2005. Two years later, he was on the move again, this time to the New Zealand Warriors. Although Auckland-based, the club competes in Australia's National Rugby League (NRL). Without a guaranteed place in the side, Michael left in March, 2009, to join Otago Rugby Football Union. His switch in codes was to prove short-lived, however, as Michael left in December, 2009, to play for the Crusaders in Europe's Super League. After two seasons with the Welsh side he signed a further contract in June 2011. Unfortunately, due to financial problems, the club was placed into administration and lost it's license to remain in the league. In August 2011, it was announced that Michael had agreed a three-year deal with the London Broncos. Aside from rugby, he is well known for his semi-nude calendar appearances. Enjoy!
