Gavin is a Welsh professional rugby union player and television personality. He made his international debut for Wales at the age of nineteen. Henson, who was part of the Welsh Grand Slam-winning teams in 2005 and 2008, as well as a 2005 British and Irish Lion, is a talented player whose career has been blighted by injury.
In November 2010, Gavin was the runner-up in the first series of the ITV endurance show '71 Degrees North'. Filmed on location in Norway, he had to climb, swim and trek his way to the Arctic Circle. In the following month, Henson appeared as a contestant on the eighth series of BBC One's 'Strictly Come Dancing'. He finished in a respectable fifth place, alongside professional partner Katya Virshilas. In the autumn of 2011, the Welshman starred in the British version of 'The Bachelor'.
Gavin has two children with songstress Charlotte Church, Ruby (Born in 2007) and Dexter (Born in 2009). The couple split in May 2010, just six weeks after announcing their engagement. They had been together for five years.
